Galleon Trade Route Stopped
A trade route in which Spanish trading ship used to sail through once or twice a year across the Pacific Ocean was discovered by Andrés de Urdaneta in 1565. The use of the galleon trade route continued until 1815 when the Mexican War of Independence put a permanent stop to it. |
